Should you Season Scrambled Eggs Before or After you Cook them?

Ingredients

  • 6 large cage-free organic eggs
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 30 ml
  • sea salt & black pepper
  • handful freshly chopped chives
  • 2 tbsp cold water (30 ml)

Instructions

Scrambled Eggs Seasoned Before Cooked

  1. Crak 3 large eggs into a bowl, season with sea salt & black pepper, whisk together until well mixed, then add in 1 tbsp (15 ml) cold water and give it one final whisk

  2. Heat a small nonstick fry pan with a low-medium heat and add in 1 tbsp (15 ml) extra virgin olive oil

  3. After 2 minutes add in the seasoned whisked eggs, gently mix the eggs in a circular motion and then towards the center, exactly 2 minutes after adding the eggs they should be perfectly cooked, remove from the heat, transfer to a dish and sprinkle with freshly chopped chives

After 2 minutes add in the whisked eggs, gently mix the eggs in a circular motion and then towards the center, about 1 minute and 45 seconds after adding the eggs, season with sea salt & black pepper, mix together so the seasonings are evenly mixed, exactly 2 minutes after adding the eggs they should be perfectly cooked, remove from the heat, transfer to a dish and sprinkle with freshly chopped chives
