Ingredients

  • 25 raw jumbo shrimp peeled & deveined
  • 1 tsp garlic powder 3.28 grams
  • 1 tsp onion powder 2.33 grams
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin 1 gram
  • 1 tsp sweet smoked Spanish paprika 2.30 grams
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric 1 gram
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger 1 gram
  • 1 tsp dried cilantro .61 grams
  • 1/8 tsp freshly cracked black pepper .35 grams
  • 1 tsp lemon juice 5 ml
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil 60 ml
  • 1 lemon
  • handful fresh parsley
  • pinch sea salt

Instructions

  1. Heat a nonstick grilling pan with a medium heat

  2. Meanwhile, add in 1 tsp garlic powder into a large bowl, along with 1 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp ground cumin, 1 tsp sweet smoked Spanish paprika, 1/2 tsp ground turmeric, 1/2 tsp ground ginger, 1 tsp dried cilantro and 1/8 tsp freshly cracked black pepper, mix together, then add in 1 tsp lemon juice and 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil, mix together and set aside

  3. Add the shrimp over paper towels and pat completely dry, then add them into the bowl with the spice blend, season with sea salt and gently mix together until all the shrimp are fully coated

  4. Pierce the shrimp into wooden skewers, making sure they´re tightly packed together

  5. Add the shrimp skewers into the hot grilling pan, cook for 60 to 90 seconds per side, then remove from the heat, garnish with lemon wedges and finely chopped fresh parsley, enjoy!
