Better than Movie Theater Popcorn

  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup corn kernels
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp sweet smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp dried parsley
  • pinch sea salt
  • pinch black pepper


  1. Heat a sauce pan with a medium heat, add 2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil and 1/2 cup of corn kernels, mix the kernels around so they´re all bathing in the oil and place a lid on the pan, once the kernels begin to pop give the pan a quick shake once in a while, after about 4-5 minutes all the kernels should be almost popped, when you hear that there is a 3 second interval between the popping remove the lid and transfer the popcorn to a large bowl

  2. Season the popcorn with 1/2 tsp of sweet smoked paprika, 1/4 tsp of cumin powder, 1/2 tsp of garlic powder, 1/2 tsp of onion powder, 2 tsp of parsley flakes, a pinch of sea salt and some freshly cracked black pepper, toss together until everything is well combined, enjoy!
