The Crispiest Oven-Baked Potatoes | Guilt-Free Crispy Potatoes Recipe
This recipe is for all you potato lovers who are looking to eat the crispiest potatoes ever, but without all the oil. We´re talking Guilt-Free Oven-Baked Crispy Potatoes. These potatoes are so crispy and they´re so good, you will not believe that they´re not fried.
The best part about this dish, is that we´re using just 1 tbsp (15 ml) of olive oil for the entire recipe. Folk´s, when it comes to crispy potatoes, it doesn´t get any easier, crunchier or healthier than this.
To make this recipe, I used new potatoes. But you can use any potatoes you like. Though waxy potatoes work best. Such as new potatoes, yukon gold or golden delight. If you happen to use a starchier potato, such as russet, let them sit in the water (sliced) for at least 2 hours to remove all the starch.
TIPS & TRICKS to Make this Recipe: In my oven it took about 42 minutes to get the potatoes perfectly cooked with that incredible crunch. But every oven heats differently. So start checking at about the 35 minute mark, but it might take you even 50 minutes. Make sure once the potatoes are cooked, to let them sit at room temperature for 5 minutes. This gives them that last step for that extra crunch.
Key Ingredients & Cookware I used in this Recipe:
PARCHMENT PAPER
EXTRA VIRGIN SPANISH OLIVE OIL
SPANISH SEA SALT

Looking forward to trying this recipe. Our oven only has convention bake and roast, and conventional bake and broil, each as individual settings. There is no combined broil and bake. What do you suggest?

I would bake them and just flip the potatoes at the half way point, maybe add to the broiler at then end to crisp up 🙂 much love
