The Most Garlicky Spanish Garlic Shrimp
Vampires BEWARE. In this post, I will show you how to make the most Garlicky Spanish Garlic Shrimp ever! Seriously folk´s, this dish has so much garlic, it´s gonna blow your mind. This tapas dish is loaded with flavors, super easy to make and done in 20 minutes.
I´m a sucker for garlic, I could eat it everyday (wait a second…..I do it eat garlic everyday). Seriously, this tapas dish is the BEST garlic shrimp you will ever taste. My favorite part about this recipe is that it uses minimal ingredients, yet the flavors are truly extraordinary.
To make this dish I used frozen shrimp I thawed out, just to make things easier and cheaper. The secret when using frozen shrimp that you thaw out? Make sure you pat them completely dry with paper towels. This removes any of the excess moisture in the shrimp, giving them a beautiful texture and flavor.
TIPS & TRICKS to make this recipe: Use the BEST possible extra virgin olive oil to make these shrimp. It´s what really flavors the entire dish. Don´t cook the shrimp for more than 60 seconds per side, nothing worst than over-cooked shrimp. I used a large head of garlic here, don´t be afraid, add more if you like 🙂 .Remember to serve this next to a crusty baguette, to mop up all that olive oil and garlic.
