Heat a large fry pan with a medium heat and add in the olive oil
In the meantime, finely chop the onion, roughly chop the garlic and drain the cans of butter beans into a colander and rinse under water
Add the chopped onion and garlic into the hot fry pan, mix continuously, after 3 to 4 minutes and the onion is translucent, add in the flour, mix continuously
After 2 minutes add in the paprika and oregano, quickly mix together, then add in the milk and broth, continue to mix until you get a slightly creamy sauce, about 3 to 4 minutes, then add in the drained butter beans, lemon juice and season with sea salt & black pepper, mix together, then lower to a low-medium heat and simmer
After 5 minutes, remove the pan from the heat, transfer into a large serving dish, top off with the grated cheese and chopped parsley, enjoy!
