Heat a large fry pan with a medium heat and add in the olive oil
After a couple of minutes, add in the chopped onion and garlic, mix continuously
After about 4 minutes and the ingredients are lightly sautéed, add in the flour, continue to mix together for 1 minute, then add in the white wine, mix together, and then simmer for a few minutes
Once the alcohol has cooked off in the wine, about 2 to 3 minutes, add in the chicken broth and gently mix together until there are no lumps in the sauce
When it comes to a simmer, add in the frozen peas, mix together until well mixed, then place a lid on the pan and lower to a low-medium heat, and simmer
In the meantime, cut the sliced Spanish jamón into small bite-sized squares
After simmering the peas for 5 to 7 minutes and they're just tender, season with salt & pepper, mix together, then turn off the heat, add in the Spanish ham, and gently mix together
Serve warm or at room temperature, enjoy!
