“Better than Deli” Smoked Salmon Salad Sandwich
This smoked salmon salad sandwich is what honest home cooking is all about. It’s filled with flavors, made with simple everyday ingredients, and all done in about 10 minutes. Serve it next to a handful of chips and a chilled bottle of Spanish white wine for a great meal.
To make this sandwich, I used thin slices of smoked salmon I bought at the supermarket. To cut the smoked salmon, just tightly roll the slices and then finely chop them.
What gives this sandwich that creamy goodness is mayonnaise. I used low-fat, but you can also use full-fat, nonfat, or even a plant-based one if you like. As for the bread, I used multigrain. But any other type of bread will work.
TIPS & TRICKS to Make this Recipe: Make sure to lightly toast the bread beforehand. That way, once you add the smoked salmon salad, it doesn’t break apart. You can make the smoked salmon salad ahead of time. It will hold for up to 3 to 4 days in the fridge in an airtight container.
