“Better than Deli” Tuna Salad Sandwich | EASY 10 Minute Recipe
This Tuna Salad Sandwich is filled with flavors, made with simple everyday ingredients and done within minutes with absolutely no cooking on the stovetop. Serve it next to a handful of chips and a refreshing drink, and you’re going to have yourself the best moment of your day.
To make this sandwich, I used Spanish canned tuna in olive oil. But you can also use tuna in water. Either way, in this recipe, we won’t be using the olive oil from the tuna. But by all means, do not toss it, as you can use it as a salad dressing or even to make some delicious sautéed vegetables.
For the bread, I used multi-grain sandwich bread. You can use whatever type of bread you like. The most important thing is to make sure you lightly toast the bread. That way, once you add the tuna salad, it doesn’t get mushy and break apart.
TIPS & TRICKS to Make this Recipe: You can serve this sandwich at room temperature or even chilled. The tuna salad will hold for up to 3 to 4 days in the fridge in an airtight container.
