Creamy GARLIC Butter Beans | Packed with GOODNESS & Easy to Make
These Creamy GARLIC Butter Beans are filled with flavors, made with simple ingredients and done in about 20 minutes. Serve them as a side dish next to some grilled fish or even as a main course next to a crunchy baguette. Either way, it’s the kind of food that’ll fill you with so much goodness.
To make this recipe, I used canned butter beans. If you can’t find butter beans in your area, you can use other types of white beans. Such as great northern or even cannellini beans. You can also use dried beans if you like. Just soak them overnight in plenty of water and then simmer the following day for 1 to 2 hours or until tender.
I topped off the creamy butter beans with some grated Manchego cheese. The one I used was aged for 6 months. But you can use other types of Manchego, as well as any other type of cheese you like or whatever you have on hand.
TIPS & TRICKS to Make this Recipe: You can serve this dish warm or even at room temperature. It will hold for up to 3 to 4 days in the fridge in an airtight container. When reheating, you can add in some more milk or broth to bring back the creaminess.
