These Lemon Pepper Roasted Asparagus are the perfect side dish for any meal. Loaded with great flavors, above and beyond easy to make and done in under 30 minutes. Serve these lemon pepper asparagus next to some grilled tuna steaks and some twice baked potatoes for an incredible meal. The secret to perfectly roasted asparagus is to not over-cook them. You want the asparagus to still have a slight crunch to them, this gives them a better texture and flavor.

Easy Lemon Pepper Roasted Asparagus Recipe

  • 24 thick fresh asparagus
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • pinch sea salt


  1. Grab 24 thick asparagus and cut off between 2-3 inches from the bottom, a great tip for all your asparagus to end up in the same size is to grab them as a bunch and hold them upright, then lightly pack them on a flat surface with the top part of the asparagus in the bottom, then lay them on a cutting board while still holding them and cut off the ends in a single cut

  2. Rinse the asparagus under cold running water and pat completely dry with a dish cloth, add the asparagus to a baking tray lined with foil paper, make sure they are all in a single layer and tightly packed together, brush the asparagus with extra virgin olive oil, then season with sea salt, garlic powder and a generous portion of lemon pepper seasoning

  3. Add to a preheated oven, bake + broil option 250 C -480 F, after 15 minutes remove from the oven and carefully transfer the asparagus to a dish making sure all the seasonings stay on the asparagus, garnish the dish with a couple slices of lemon, enjoy!
