4 Healthy Salad Dressings that will Seriously Flavor your Salads
Spring is finally here, well at least in the Northern Hemisphere, which means salad season is upon us. With that being said, I´m going to show you how to make 4 Healthy Salad Dressings that will take your salads to the next-level in goodness.
The beauty of these homemade salad dressings, is that they´re all made with very simple ingredients, they´re easy to make and each comes together within minutes. Truly, so much healthier & tastier than any salad dressings you will get at the supermarket.
To make the salad dressings, I used glass jars with a lid on them. But you can also use a bowl with a whisk. I like to use the glass jars, as they´re perfect to store the dressings once they are done.
TIPS & TRICKS to Make these Dressings: On a couple of the dressings I used fresh parsley. You can substitute it for dried parsley. Just use half the amount. These dressings will hold in the fridge between 4 to 7 days in an air-tight glass jar or container.

4 Healthy Salad Dressings that will Seriously Flavor your Salads
Ingredients
FOR THE SIMPLE VINAIGRETTE
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil 120 ml
- 2 tbsp sherry vinegar 30 ml
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley 4 grams
- pinch sea salt
- dash black pepper
FOR THE HONEY MUSTARD
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil 60 ml
- 2 tbsp dijon mustard 32 grams
- 2 tbsp honey 42 grams
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar 15 ml
- pinch sea salt
- dash black pepper
FOR THE HEALTHY RANCH DRESSING
- 3/4 cup Greek yogurt 160 grams
- 2 tbsp water 30 ml
- 1 tsp lemon juice 5 ml
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tbsp dried dill 1.5 grams
- pinch sea salt
- dash black pepper
FOR THE BALSAMIC VINAIGRETTE
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil 120 ml
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar 30 ml
- 2 tsp dijon mustard 11 grams
- 1 shallot
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley 4 grams
- pinch sea salt
- dash black pepper
Instructions
HOW TO MAKE THE SIMPLE VINAIGRETTE

Add in 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil into a glass jar with a lid, along with 2 tbsp sherry vinegar, 1 clove garlic finely minced, 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley and season with sea salt & black pepper, close the lid and shake until well combined
HOW TO MAKE THE HONEY MUSTARD

Add in 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil into a glass jar with a lid, along with 2 tbsp dijon mustard, 2 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar and season with sea salt & black pepper, close the lid and shake until well combined
HOW TO MAKE THE HEALTHY RANCH DRESSING

Add in 3/4 cup Greek yogurt into a glass jar with a lid, along with 2 tbsp water, 1 tsp lemon juice, 1 clove garlic finely minced, 1/2 tbsp dried dill and season with sea salt & black pepper, close the lid and shake until well combined
HOW TO MAKE THE BALSAMIC VINAIGRETTE

Add in 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil into a glass jar with a lid, along with 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar, 2 tsp dijon mustard, 1 shallot finely minced, 1 clove garlic finely minced, 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley and season with sea salt & black pepper, close the lid and shake until well combined

I made the honey mustard dressing and turned out incredibly good!!!
I just made the balsamic dressing, I made it with regular mustard. I hope it doesn’t alter the recipe much. I will serve it this evening with my salad.

What would you suggest as an alternative to lemon juice in the ranch dressing? I really limit lemon because it causes me to have bladder infections. I would imagine lime would do the same but I’m not sure and don’t want to test it. Do you think white wine vinegar or an alcohol free white wine (I don’t drink alcohol) would work?
