Amazing Crispy Garlic Bread – NO OVEN | With & Without Cheese
I´m a huge fan of garlic bread, and this No Oven Crispy Garlic Bread is probably my favorite way of enjoying this classic appetizer. We´re talking super easy to make, just a handful of ingredients and all done within minutes.
The best part about this recipe? It´s all done on the stove top instead of the oven, yet you still end up with that amazing crispy texture. Plus I´m going to show you how to make 2 different versions. One with cheese and one without.
The secret to this recipe is to use Garlic Infused Olive Oil. As it´s what really flavors the garlic breads. I used a Spanish one from the Biadso. Truly one of my personal favorite Garlic infused olive oils.
TIPS & TRICKS to Make this Recipe: When dipping the breads in the olive oil before adding them into the pan. Just give them a quick dip on both sides. Don´t saturate the breads in the olive oil. Otherwise the garlic breads will get too oily.

No Oven Crispy Garlic Bread (With & Without Cheese)
Ingredients
- 1 baguette
- 1/4 cup garlic infused olive oil 60 ml
- 1 tsp dried oregano 1 gram
- 2 cloves garlic (roughly chopped)
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley 8 grams
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 30 ml
- 4 oz mozzarella cheese 115 grams
- pinch sea salt
Instructions
-
Add the cloves of garlic into a mortar, along with the parsley and a pinch of sea salt, using a pestle mash down on the ingredients until you form a paste-like texture, then add in 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, mix together and set aside
-
Heat a large non stick fry pan with a medium heat
-
Meanwhile, cut the baguette into diagonal slices that are 1 inch (2.50 cm) thick
-
Add the garlic infused olive oil into a shallow bowl, along with the dried oregano and a pinch of sea salt, whisk together
-
Using a potato peeler, thinly peel slices from a block of mozzarella cheese, or you can just thinly slice using a knife
-
To make the no cheese garlic bread, start dipping the slices of baguette in the olive oil mixture, on both sides, and then adding them into the hot pan, all in a single layer, cook in batches, after 2 minutes and the breads are golden, flip to crisp the other side, after another 2 minutes remove them from the fry pan and place over a wire rack
-
To make the cheesy garlic breads, once again, dip the slices of baguette into the olive oil mixture (on both sides) and then into the hot pan, after 2 minutes flip the breads, add the thin slices of mozzarella over the breads, place a lid on the pan and lower to a LOW heat, after 2 to 3 minutes and the cheese is melted, remove the breads from the pan and over a wire rack
-
To assemble the dish, add the garlic breads into a serving dish and drizzle them with the garlic green sauce, serve at once, enjoy!
