These Roasted Spanish Almonds with Paprika & Rosemary are the ultimate Spanish tapas appetizer. The Spaniards are known for their love of almonds, but most of the almonds we consum are fried in olive oil. These Roasted Spanish Almonds with Paprika & Rosemary are made in the oven, which means they are super healthy and not greasy at all. Whether you´re having a tapas party or just want a quick and tasty snack, these roasted almonds will be a hit.

– How to Easily Blanch your Own Almonds –

For this recipe I blanched my own almonds, just because it´s much cheaper, plus blanching almonds is super easy. It´s all done by adding the almonds to hot boiling water that has been removed from the heat, letting them sit in there between 60-90 seconds and start easily removing the skins. Store bought blanched almonds can get very expensive, but if you prefer to use them, I do recommend you cut down on the roasting time to 7 to 8 minutes, instead of 12 to 14 minutes, just because store-bought blanched almonds have been air-dried and they cook faster.
