Spanish Cava Sangria Recipe | The Ultimate Sparkling Wine Cocktail
Spain is famously known for their sangria, a delicious cocktail made with either red wine or white wine. In this post, I will show you how to make a Spanish cava sangria recipe. This sangria is made with fresh fruits and cava, Spain´s famous sparkling wine.
This cava sangria has an insane flavor to it, seriously folks, you can´t even taste the alcohol (what!!!). Made with a very simple blend of fruits and a hint of Spanish brandy. No joke here, this is the BEST sangria I have ever tasted, hands down.
The best part about this cava sangria, is that it doesn´t have to sit in the fridge for a couple hours. Most sangrias call for this, so all the flavors develop. Thanks to the sparkles in the cava, all the flavors instantly develop.
TIPS & TRICKS to make this recipe: I used a ¨brut¨ Spanish cava, this cava is not as sweet as the other ones. That way you can adjust the sweetness in the sangria to your liking. For the orange juice, I used a store-bought one, not from concentrate and with no pulp. If you prefer, you can freshly squeeze your own, just run it through a sieve to remove the pulp. This sangria serves 4 large wine glasses, if you need more, just double up on the recipe.
