Spanish Garlic Shrimp + Garlic Toast = The PERFECT Tapas Night In
If you´re looking for the perfect tapas appetizer to enjoy on a lazy night or just a dish that packs some serious flavors, these Spanish Garlic Shrimp + Garlic Toast are just that. We´re talking garlic shrimp sauteed in extra virgin olive oil and garlicky toast to mop up all that goodness.
This tapas recipe is easy to make, filled with so many great flavors and it´s all done in just 20 minutes. Serve this tapas dish next to a bottle of Spanish wine for the ultimate Spanish experience.
To make this recipe, I used frozen shrimp that I thawed out. Just to make things easier and more affordable. However, you can also use fresh shrimp if you prefer. Either way, make sure to pat the shrimp completely dry with paper towels. This way once they hit the pan, they can absorb all the flavors.
TIPS & TRICKS to Make this Recipe: To make the garlic toast, I used a combination of extra virgin olive oil and margarine. You can also use butter instead of margarine. I just prefer the margarine, as it works better with the olive oil.
