    – Spicy Garlic Paprika Shrimp with Chunky Tomatoes –

These Spicy Garlic Paprika Shrimp with Chunky Tomatoes are seriously over-the-top good. Loaded with so many Spanish flavors, beyond easy to make and done in 20 minutes. This is Spanish tapas at its best. I like to serve these shrimp next to a crusty baguette to mop up all that garlicky tomato sauce.

Spicy Garlic Paprika Shrimp with Chunky TomatoesAs much as I love these shrimp as an appetizer, you can always pour these shrimp over some pasta for an incredible dish. The secret to this recipe is the sweet smoked Spanish paprika and the hot smoked Spanish paprika. This is what gives this dish that beautiful spicy flavor and that smoky Spanish touch.

– How to Perfectly Cook Shrimp Everytime –

There is nothing worst that over-cooked shrimp, they have a rubbery texture and the flavor is long gone. The secret is to sear your shrimp on a medium-high heat for 1 minute per side. Once they´re done remove them from the pan and set aside. After coooking the rest of the ingredients you add the shrimps back into the pan to incorporate all the flavors and serve.

  • 1/2 tsp sweet smoked paprika
  • 12 raw jumbo shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup freshly chopped parsley

  2. Heat a small fry pan with a medium-high heat and add 2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil, after 2 minutes add the shrimps seasoned side down, after 1 minute flip the shrimp, after a total cooking time of 2 minutes remove the shrimps from pan and set aside

  3. Using the same pan with the same heat add the sliced garlic and mix around with the oil, after 2 minutes (make sure not to burn the garlic) add 1/2 tsp of sweet smoked paprika and 1/2 tsp of hot smoked paprika, mix until well combined, then add 1/2 cup of canned diced tomatoes, about 2 tbsp of freshly chopped parsley and season with sea salt & freshly cracked black pepper, mix it all together until well combined
