Manchego and Olive Pull-Apart Bread Recipe

Ingredients

  • -2 cups all pur-purpose flour
  • -2 tsp baking powder
  • -1 tsp sea salt
  • -1/2 tsp white sugar
  • -2 tbsp extra virgin Spanish olive oil
  • -2/3 cup luke warm water
  • olive oil to brush
  • sea salt
  • garlic powder
  • -shredded queso manchego
  • -sliced green Spanish olives

Instructions

  1. Add 2 cups of all-purpose flour into a large bowl, also add 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of sea salt and 1/2 teaspoon of white sugar, mix all the dry ingredients together, then add 2 tablespoons of extra virgin Spanish olive oil and 2/3 cups of water and mix everything together until it forms a dough, then get in there with your hands and knead the dough inside of the bowl between 1 to 2 minutes and shape it into a ball
  2. Sprinkle some all-purpose flour on a flat surface, add the ball of dough on top and cut it in half, shape each half into a ball, then cut each ball of dough into 4 quarters and then cut each quarter in half, for a total of 16 pieces of dough, shape each one into a ball
  3. Grab a 6-inch diameter circular baking pan, line it with parchment paper and add the balls of dough in a single layer, then brush the dough with some extra virgin Spanish olive oil, season with sea salt and a sprinkle of garlic powder, shred in about 1 cup of Manchego cheese and top off with some thinly sliced Spanish olives
  4. Add the baking pan into a pre-heated oven, bake and broil option, 210 C - 410 F between 12-14 minutes
  5. Transfer the pull-apart bread into a dish and serve immediately
  6. Enjoy!
